LI: For this activity i had to figure out many facts about centipedes and their habitat. i had found out that many centipedes have very odd pairs of legs and never have exactly 100 legs and there are only 8,000 of them known to currently exist in the world. and the tallest a centipede could be is up to 25 centimeters.

Great job on your centipede research! The “Giant Centipede Facts” graphic you created is very informative and the layout makes it really easy to read all those cool facts. I was particularly surprised to learn that they can live for up to 7 years!
Reading about centipedes being speedy hunters reminds me of the time I tried to catch a small one in my garden, but it was much faster than I expected and disappeared under a log before I could get a closer look. Since you found out that centipedes never have exactly 100 legs, if you could choose to have a specific number of legs for a day, how many would you pick and why?
I think I would choose to have eight legs like a spider, so I could be extra steady while hiking on steep trails!
