Abstract noun.

Today LS2 made abstract nouns poems, to do my partner and I picked a abstract noun, and we pick regret. We made an AI image of what regret looks like. Then my patner and I made another one, and the abstract noun we pick was happiness. Then when made another we made an AI image of what happiness looks like. And then we shared it to the class. The poems we made were very fun to make and there were a lot of words, art, and stories put into these poems.

Maths DLO Group 6.

Today Me and my group made a DLO about writing and evaluating Algebraic Expressions, involving more than one operation for Maths. We learned how to solve questions by translating the letters into numbers. This DLO was very intresting and compelling to make.

Group 6 Maths DLO.

Today Me and my Group on solving basic operators using calculators. It teaches us how to answer basic operators with a calculator. I found this activity really interesting because we get to use Calculators and calculate it seeing if we get the same answer or not.

Kapa Haka TOD.

Last week the senior’s Kapa Haka group had their performnce for other Principles who visited Panmure Bridge School and were presented to our School. The perfomance that day was very good and very energetic.

Mood-O-Meter.

Last week me and my partner were tasked to make a DLO about a Meter for the Mood in the story “The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas” and we learned that the story did not end quite well and the mood of the story takes place in Chapters 9 and 10. It was very fun making this DLO with me partner.

Building Hope.

After reading the “Diary of Anne Frank” and “The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas” we talked about what people must have felt having their whole world turned upside-down.

I can’t imagine what it felt like for the Jewish people being captured, taken away from their families, either murdered or be a slave, and having their cloth of dreams torn by the German Soldiers and try to build hope in the worst times of their lives.

Yesterday we discussed how we could put their cloth of dreams back together again. This activty was inspired by the book Teaspoon of Light.

Gagana Samoa DLO

Today my class and I were celebrating Samoan Language Week. We are tasked to translate some Samoan arrives to New Zealand from Samoa and is new to LS2 we try our best to make sure he/she knows what to do and stay on task. This activity was so fun and so full of culture. It teaches you of how to speak Samoan or how to have a good understanding of the Samoan language. Happy Samoa language week.
