LI: For today’s activity i learned about an elephant named Mosha. From the year 2004 – 2005 an elephant named Mosha got her leg destroyed to a landmine in thailand and would get a prosthetic leg in only 2 more years during 2008 and has inspired The Elephant Prade project.
LI: For this activity i had to figure out many facts about centipedes and their habitat. i had found out that many centipedes have very odd pairs of legs and never have exactly 100 legs and there are only 8,000 of them known to currently exist in the world. and the tallest a centipede could be is up to 25 centimeters.
LI: For today’s task i learned about spider webs and what learned is Spider’s make spider webs from all the silk in their body which is also hardened when is contacted with air and is pulled through nozzle like spinners intheir abdomen. which is why spider webs are incredibly strong, flexible, and are used for trapping prey or other bugs for the Spider to feast on.
LI: To find out what career you want to have in the future.
On week 6 i made a DLO for a career i choosed after finishing a career quest. The career i picked was the job of a Advertising Specialist. I chose this career because of the money but not only the money i also wanted to see what it is like to plan, create, and manage advertising campains to promote products and services for clients so i really thought that this career would be intresting due to my intrest in planning and creating and for the money.

For this task our main focus this week was learning and exploring about the shearer’s strike. Our group looked at the two perspectives of the shearer’s strike. When we read both of them we formed an opinion of which we thought was a better argument than the other.
Why Maungarei sleeps
One day Maungarei woke up furious from her rest and was outraged by the other maunga and was annoyed, but when she calmed down she wanted to play with the other young maunga like her so when she asked the other maunga if she could play with them and she was ignored, so she was even more furious then before so smoke started to exit her crater so she asked them one more time and still she was ignored so then she shot lots and lots of debris from her crater and then she snapped so then she blinded everybody and when the debris went away she Exploded! But still her mind was taken over by rage so then for one more time she Exploded again but once she calmed down she realised how much damage she caused. So she was sad and knew she would be lonely no matter what. So after thinking about everything she did she became a Dormant Volcano and has remained a Dormant Volcano ever since. And until now after hearing these stories people wonder if Maungarei was a lonely and emotional mountain or was an evil mountain who might strike the earth with meteors in the future.
